April 1, 2020
Dear AISS family,
We are excited to announce that the Achievement Institute of Scientific Studies has been chosen for Octane’s Non-profit Accelerator Program. Supported by the Edwards Lifescience Foundation, the 16-week program is designed to help nonprofits increase visibility, build capacity, and sustain community impact.
Octane states that its mission is to “[convene] organizations of the Southern California technology and medical technology business ecosystem by connecting people, resources and capital.” Octane has helped create over 10,000 jobs and over 490 companies receive funding.
“I am honored and extremely excited to be part of the 2nd cohort. I feel this process will help prepare us to reach more donors and funders to support the sustainability and expansion of our College to Career Readiness STEM Program so we can help more students reach their goals,” expressed AISS Executive Director Debbie Wells.
