Jacqueline Rojas, PhD
Vice Chair
Dr. Rojas is a retired educator with a distinguished career spanning all levels of science education—from Pre-K to doctoral studies. As a Board Member of the ARCS Foundation, she plays a vital role in connecting Achievement Institute Scholars with advanced STEM research, arranging opportunities for them to attend presentations by ARCS Scholars, who are Ph.D. candidates at UC Irvine. In addition to her leadership, Dr. Rojas serves as the program’s Writing Instructor, providing invaluable support as scholars craft compelling college application essays.
A Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and fluent Spanish speaker, Dr. Rojas also actively engages with the families of AISS scholars, helping to foster a supportive, inclusive community around each student’s educational journey.
