Lama Ziq

Lama Ziq holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Communication from Arizona State University and a Master’s in International Affairs. Fluent in five languages, she is passionate about connecting cultures and communities through education.

Lama currently serves as the Fund Development Manager at AISS (Achievement Institute of STEM Scholars), where she supports the organization’s mission of empowering students through STEM education. She discovered AISS while searching for a nonprofit in Orange County that aligned with her values and has been continually inspired by the impactful work the program does.

Lama believes that STEM education is essential for students in Santa Ana, as it equips them with the skills needed for success in today’s fast-paced world and opens doors to future opportunities. She encourages others to get involved with programs like AISS as a meaningful way to make a lasting difference.

Her message to AISS scholars: Never stop learning, never stop exploring, and never doubt your potential. Whether in your studies, your career, or your personal life, always seek growth and remain true to yourself. The challenges you face today are stepping stones to your future success.
